Exact renderings in colored glaze and/or relief can be made in ceramic tile. An example is a series of wildflower tiles commissioned by the NationalWildflowerResearchCenter in Austin, Texas, the passion of Lady Bird Johnson. Design renderings are also available on a fee basis for developing detailed commission proposal requests by clients. This is an opportunity for the client to see their ideas and concepts take on visual clarity. In addition, the studio also does pencil and watercolor work for book illustration. The studio will ship/deliver/install all work it produces to any location in the world using conservative trade standards for substrate integrity, adhesives, grout, and sealers.
